Women who are unhappy with the size or shape of their vaginal lips have the option of cosmetic plastic surgery to reduce the labia. The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic includes a female plastic surgeon whose perspective is often appreciated by women who visit our clinic for labiaplasty from Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Windsor, Cambridge, Guelph, and other Ontario communities.
Cosmetic vaginal rejuvenation is a procedure more women are choosing. Request a consultation online to meet with one of our plastic surgeons, or call our office at (519) 804-9822 to schedule an appointment.
We're proud of the results we achieve and the satisfaction our patients get when they see their dreams become reality. See for yourself.
The appearance of the vagina isn't the only reason women consider labiaplasty. Irritation and discomfort during sexual intercourse can be caused by stretched or enlarged labia. Labiaplasty is a good option for women who:
Labiaplasty is cosmetic surgery with the goal of improving the appearance of the labia. Reconstructive surgery such as vaginoplasty is a procedure to correct functional issues. In some cases, the 2 procedures are combined as part of a vaginal rejuvenation.
In labiaplasty, plastic surgery can be performed on the labia majora (the larger, outer vaginal lips), or the labia minora (the smaller, inner vaginal lips). Vaginoplasty might be necessary to tighten a vagina that is lax as result of giving birth vaginally.
We understand living on a budget. Check out our convenient financing options for qualifying patients.
During a labiaplasty procedure, excess skin is removed and the remaining skin is reshaped to achieve symmetrical, attractive genitalia. Although each patient's recovery is unique, most women are able to sit and walk on the day of the surgery. Light activity such as walking is encouraged, but it's important to avoid more strenuous exercise for about a month after surgery. Sexual intercourse should be avoided for 4 to 6 weeks.
