Breast lift surgery may be as simple as raising the nipple and areola by a few millimeters with a small incision around the areola. However, in many cases the laxity of the breast skin requires the removal of excess skin to tighten the whole breast skin envelope.

While it is not meant for weight reduction, liposuction uses a hollow stainless steel tube with the assistance of vacuum suction to remove fat.
