Natalie Jakobowska
RPN, Aesthetic Laser Nurse Specialist
Natalie is a Registered Practical Nurse who has garnered a wealth of aesthetic and laser experience since receiving her nursing diploma from Conestoga College in 2006. Eventually, her career path and interests led her to cosmetic nursing and the team at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Waterloo; she hasn’t looked back since.
Angela Stubbe

Ange’s operating room experience dates back to 2002, and she has been with the Cosmetic Surgery Clinic since 2009. Ange runs the operating room at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic with the skill of a general, the passion of an orchestra conductor and the vision of a corporate CEO. It is because of Ange’s efforts that every procedure we do succeeds without a glitch.
Lauren Jacobs
Aesthetic and Peri-Operative R.N.,

Lauren has been a registered nurse since June 2004, and has worn many hats throughout her nursing career. She has experience working as an oral surgery nurse, a paediatric nurse, and as a surgical nurse at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, but she finally found her true calling in cosmetic surgery. Spending the last few years nursing exclusively with cosmetic surgery procedures ultimately led her to our team at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic.
Majid Memand
R.N., Nurse Injector
A nurse since 2006, Majid Memand was initially drawn to the field of nursing by his sincere motivation to help people live full lives, free from pain and discomfort. Passionate about art, science, and the study of beauty, aesthetic medicine–where these three intersect–seemed the perfect fit for Majid. As a Nurse Injector at The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, he is thankful for the opportunity to use his skills and his eye for aesthetic balance to help patients feel like their most confident selves.
Heather Shebrek
Clinic Manager
Heather has been with The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic since 2008. Her warm smile, welcoming personality and sharp intellect keep all aspects of the Cosmetic Surgery Clinic running like a well-oiled machine. Having begun her time with the clinic at the reception desk, Heather knows the ins and outs of providing the perfect patient experience. Heather works with the team to ensure that a great experience is provided to each and every patient that walks through the door.
Barb Brown
Patient Coordinator/Financial Liaison
Barb has been with The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic since 2009 and is an invaluable member of the clinic staff. She is our clinic liaison and is responsible for OHIP billing, handling the payroll, business banking and striving to make our good days great and our bad days easier to get through. Barb works hand in hand with our surgical team to make sure that all aspects of a surgical process are smooth.

Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant
Tina is a caring, compassionate employee who goes the extra mile in daily routine. As one of the friendly faces at the front desk, Tina enjoys our fast paced environment, dynamic staff and amazing patients. As an administrative assistant for our incredible plastic surgeons, she is challenged daily, motivated and encouraged by our friendly staff and patients.
Patti McDougall
Scrub Nurse, RPN
Patti is our scrub nurse in the operating room and is an invaluable part of the surgical team. Patti has described her love for her job as “feeling like coming to work with my family each day”. Patti loves being able to help care for patients during some of their most vulnerable times; from simply holding someone’s hand to assisting with ensuring safety during surgery.
Ashley Hendricks
Patient Care Coordinator
Ashley is the smiling face you see and the warm voice you hear when scheduling surgical consultations, reviewing surgical proposals, exploring your aesthetic vision, and booking your surgery. Ashley previously worked in the non-profit sector working with Waterloo Region’s most vulnerable community, and she brings an abundance of patience, kindness, and care to every role. When she’s not wearing shoes that match her outfits perfectly, she’s out running with her rescue dog Bo or spending time with her nephews.
Sydney McElheran
Administrative Assistant
Sydney has worn a multitude of hats in her professional life, but they have two things in common: great customer service and communication. She’s motivated clients in the fitness industry, worked in radio in promotions and announcing, and served with a smile at local restaurants. Sydney loves musicals, reading, dogs and hiking. Her favourite saying is “a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet.” She looks forward to meeting you!
Alicia Vanderwal
Medical Aesthetician
Alicia has been a Medical Aesthetician since 2012 and is a graduate of Gina’s College of Advanced Aesthetics. Her journey in medical aesthetics started because of her own experience with problematic skin in the past, so she’s especially passionate about empowering her patients to feel confident and naturally beautiful. When Alicia is not at the clinic she’s antiquing, biking, and enjoying outdoor activities with her golden retriever Loki.
Justyna Szczepara
Medical Device Reprocessing Technician
Justyna’s medical career began at Conestoga College with an interest in MDR Tech (Sterile Supply Processing). Since her first days of hospital work in 2015, she’s been inspired by the way her skill supports the delivery of excellent care and patient safety. In her spare time she loves hiking, horseback riding, and day trips with her husband, sons, and furry friend DJ.
