How Is Brow Lift Surgery Performed?
Our surgeons begin by administering the appropriate anesthesia to ensure your comfort. Incisions are strategically placed within the hairline to minimize visible scarring. The surgeon then meticulously lifts and repositions the skin, soft tissue, and underlying muscles to create a smoother forehead, elevate the eyebrows, and reduce frown lines. Combining Brow Lift and Eyelid Surgery

How Long Does It Take To Recover From a Brow Lift?
While everyone’s experience is different, here is a general timeline for brow lift recovery:
- Days 1-3: You’ll likely experience swelling, bruising, and mild to moderate discomfort. Use cold compresses and keep your head elevated to minimize swelling. Take prescribed pain medication as needed.
- Days 4-7: You should experience a significant reduction in pain and discomfort, and bruising and swelling should continue to decrease. You should avoid wearing contact lenses, straining, bending, and lifting.
- Days 8-14: Many patients are cleared to return to work by this time. You will continue to see improvements in swelling and bruising. If your incisions have healed enough, you may be able to start wearing makeup.
- Weeks 2-4: Results of the procedure start becoming more apparent as most swelling and bruising have resolved. Your plastic surgeon will likely clear you to resume all your normal activities. Most patients are fully recovered by 4 to 6 weeks.
By 6 months, your brows should be settled into their final position, and you should enjoy the full results of your procedure.
