What side effects should I expect in the short term during the healing process?
Temporary side effects depend on the specific laser, intensity of treatment, and individual reactions. Patients commonly experience mild redness, warmth, and puffiness like a sunburn on treated skin. Peeling, flaking, itching, and bronzing are part of the healing process and may last from a few days to a week.
