CoolSculpting just in time for the holidays.

Celebrate the season slimCoolsculpting nurse Lauren , trim and feeling your best.

The holidays are almost here, and while we are bundling up to stay warm, our patients want to feel just as fantastic under their winter coat as they do in their holiday best. So what are the non-surgical options to get rid of that stubborn fat before the annual holiday party? Our CoolSculpting Nurse Lauren is here to answer your questions and let us in on a few juicy details!

Q: What procedure would you recommend to help me get rid of that extra fat on my arms? My dress is sleeveless, and I want to feel confident showing off my arms. I’ve worked hard for them!

A: Oh, I hear you on the arms! They are amazing and strong, but some people put on a sleeveless dress and feel anything but. Treating arm fat is a request we get quite often, and we have recently added CoolSculpting Petite to our line-up to support patients who are looking to tone their arms. The applicator for CoolSculpting Petite is designed to fit the smaller contours of the arms to help get those hard to reach areas. It does a great job of trimming that excess fat which push-ups and healthy eating alone cannot resolve.

Q: When will I start to notice results from CoolSculpting? And how many treatments do I need?

A: Great questions! The results are not instantaneous. It takes about 4-8 weeks before you’ll see the best results, and I can’t stress enough that outcomes will vary from person to person! Some patients continue to notice improvements for months after their treatment, but it is different for each person.

Regarding the number of treatments, my best recommendation is to book a consultation to review your goals and current health status.  A one-on-one talk with me will give you a clear picture of what a realistic and achievable treatment plan looks like.

Q: How does the treatment feel? I am nervous it will be painful!

debra messing video CoolsculptingA: That is a common concern! The possibility of a painful freezing experience is enough to make anyone nervous. The truth, however, is simple – it’s actually quite comfortable! Most patients say that they feel a sense of cooling and then a slight numbing. Debra Messing recently spoke about her CoolSculpting experience and what it felt like. Spoiler alert! She fell asleep.

Q: Do you have men coming in for treatment? I’m asking for a “friend”.

A: YES! Both men and women are looking for help with stubborn areas of fat that just won’t go away, no matter how much healthy eating or working out they do. Whether it’s a very particular area or more extensive contouring that a patient wants to address, we can develop programs to achieve every individual’s goals.  I have even CoolSculpted a few male plastic surgeons, including Dr. Shenker himself!

Q: What is the cost of a CoolSculpting treatment?

A: The cost of treatment depends on the area we are focusing on, so whether it is a CoolSculpting Petite arm treatment or a CoolSculpting Advanced tummy treatment, the price can vary from approximately $750.00 to $1500.00 per treatment cycle. The most accurate way to determine the cost is to book a consultation.

Q: My November schedule is insane – how much time do I need to set aside for treatment?

A: Good news! The treatment can be done over your lunch hour. The new applicators make for a much quicker treatment, meaning you can achieve your body goals without having to re-work an already busy holiday schedule!

If you have any other questions or want any further information, I would love to host you for a consultation with me, and we can discuss further!
