This 61-year-old woman was unhappy with the contour of her upper arms as a result of the laxity of the excess skin and fat in those areas.

She underwent a brachioplasty which is a surgical procedure that removes the excess skin and fat from the upper arms.  The scar was placed in the position where it would be the least noticeable with natural and normal arm movement. 

She is very happy with her great results!  As you can see in the photos, taken just 3 months after her surgery, her scars have healed very nicely and have begun to lose their redness.  Eventually, her scars will fade to a smooth, pale line.
