This 44-year-old woman was unhappy with the contour of her upper arms as a result of the laxity of the excess skin and fat in those areas after having had a successful weight loss journey.

She underwent a brachioplasty which is a surgical procedure that removes the excess skin and fat from the upper arms.  The scar was placed in the position where it would be the least noticeable with natural and normal arm movement. 

She is so pleased with her great results!  As you can see in the photos, taken just under 3 months after her surgery, her scars have healed very nicely and have begun to lose their redness.  Eventually, her scars will fade to a smooth, pale line.
