Breast Revision / Implant Removal Before & After Case 847

This 50-year-old woman previously had breast augmentation surgery with a mastopexy with another surgeon 4 years ago.  Although there was nothing wrong with the implants themselves, she came to The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Waterloo, ON as she was unhappy with the implants drifting over time causing them to be malpositioned with a sagging appearance.

During consultation with her, she decided to have her implants exchanged to a smaller size and a mastopexy.

She had breast implant revision surgery to remove her original implants (445cc & 405cc silicone) and replaced with 275cc & 235cc silicone implants (different sizes due to preoperative asymmetry).  The mastopexy (breast-lift) helped to elevate the implants into a more desirable position with nipples facing forward.

She is so happy with her results and is ecstatic that, as she put it, they are "not drooping anymore".  The result seen here just 3 short months after surgery demonstrates that the shape and position are much improved.  Her scars still have some redness to them, but this will continue to fade over time.
