Breast Revision / Implant Removal Before & After Case 902

This 61-year-old woman previously had breast augmentation with mastopexy surgery more than 15 years ago.  She came to The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Waterloo, ON as she was unhappy with the changes to her breasts over time at her age and wanted a larger size of implant.

It was decided to have her implants exchanged to a slightly larger size at her request, have the capsules removed and have a mastopexy (breast lift) with fat grafting.

She had breast implant revision surgery to remove her original implants (339cc  silicone) and replaced with smooth, moderate profile silicone implants (405cc).  The mastopexy (breast lift) helped to elevate the implants into a more desirable position with nipples facing forward and the fat grafting was done to help with more volume by transferring fat from her abdomen and flanks to both breasts.

She is so very pleased with her results!  The result seen here just 2.5 months after surgery demonstrates that the shape and position are much improved.  Her scars still have some redness to them, but this will continue to fade over time.
