This 65-year-old man visited The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Waterloo, ON as he was unhappy with how the excess skin and fat under his eyes was creating deep creases in the tear troughs, made his eyes look puffy and generally tired. A tear trough is a deep crease between the lower eyelid and upper cheek. It can cast a shadow below your eyes, resulting in a tired appearance.
He underwent lower lid blepharoplasty surgery (eyelid lift) while doing it all without leaving a visible scar.
He is very happy with his results! It's been just 3 short months after his surgery and, as you can see in the before and after photos, the subtle yet effective changes to his lower eyelids make them flatter through the tear troughs making the puffy and tired appearance virtually disappear.
